The RDEC company sought to design and develop a precision radiation medicine for all clinics with a next-generation Linac by enabling computerised tomography, quality imaging at the machine, and enabling planning data and actual delivery information at the time of treatment. The developments would therefore seek to integrate complex systems of a distributed architecture, created through database relationships, coding frameworks, and toolkits, mapped across multiple functionalities as well as hardware integrations, which could ultimately lead to extensive performance, scalability, security, and data standardisation.
